Joyce’s detailed work is exceptional and the personality of the animals shines through bringing a smile to my face every time I pass the hanging portraits!

I have been looking at Joyce Dara’s work for some time now. She has artfully captured the most amazing expressions and “personalities” if you will of the animal portraits she paints. I have already purchased two portraits of dogs that are not even my pets. Because these portraits show such animation and character. They are just great illustrations in and of themselves. I also have commissioned Joyce to make a portrait of a friends’ recently deceased dog and proudly given it as a gift of remembrance to them. They were so thrilled in its likeness and truly happy to own it . Thank you Joyce for your beautiful and sensitive work

Oh my goodness, Joyce captured my sweet girl so beautifully. What a beautiful painting! I miss her so much and this painting is such a wonderful tribute. Excellent communication and shipping was so fast! Thank you so much!

Joyce is an extremely talented artist, her ability to capture both the image and emotion of my sister's pup was better than any photograph I could imagine. My sister absolutely loved it and could not believe how lifelike the likeness is! Joyce used several photos to get to know Denali and then proceeded to capture the essence of him perfectly in the drawing. I felt her love for animals come through, her communication thru the draft process was excellent. I've shared photos of her work with many friends who really loved her work and will be commissioning their own pets! Can't say enough good things about the entire experience!

We got our first Pet Puff from Joyce a couple of months ago and it is the number one hit in our house with our kitties. They absolutely love it! Working with Joyce is such a dream. I got to hand select the patterns that I wanted to use from an array of choices, and I wanted to put an initial on each corner and she even showed me what it would look like before she embroidered it. The fabric is so soft, and the puff is extremely well-made. You can tell she really takes her time and care with it.  Both of our cats love to lay on it. We will definitely be ordering a couple more! Also a fantastic gift idea. Thank you so much, Joyce!

The recipient of this special gift is going to be so excited! High quality painting that captures the essence of this dog's spirit. Vendor worked continuously with me along the process to ensure the product was exactly what I wanted. Product was received earlier than promise date. I can't wait to see the look on the recipient when she opens it up and see the likeness of her cherished furry son on canvas! I hope to use this vendor again for future portraits

Every time I look at this beautiful portrait, my heart just feels so full. I commissioned this piece to honor the life of the most wonderful cat in the world. It will be a gift to someone very close to me and I know that it will mean so much to her. Joyce really captured his soulful expression and all of the little details in his fur. I can’t stop staring at it. I love it so much. I’m so grateful to have this to give to her. I absolutely love it!

Joyce’s work was everything I hoped for and more! I’m blown away at the quality of work, attention to detail, and Joyce’s ability to capture the soul of our sweet Duke boy! We’re so thrilled to have received this purchase and I will definitely be ordering from Joyce again soon, as well as recommending her work to many friends and family! Thank you, Joyce!

This is my second order with Joyce. My sister and brother-in-law were so thrilled with receiving a painting of their dog Leo and said, “Joyce really captured him so beautifully…she’s so talented.” You can’t do better than that. Thank you Joyce for making my gift extra special.
